hi....

 

     im new to this site.. and i just joined the 28 day detox challenge... i have a few questions if anyone could help me..

    1-when your doing the detox for the first 4 days, do you have to stick to the menu that they have given you or can you eat the same thing everyday( really dont like some of the smoothies and lunch)

    2- why cant you have shrimp in the detox phase.

    3- do you lose weight doing this program.

 

the way it is set up is a little confusing to me...

I was wondering the same thing.  The meals are quite time-consuming to prepare.  Even the snacks are.  I had to have a banana today just to fill in a gap.

I believe you can eat the same thing everyday if you would like.  I have also been thinking about modifying some of them but staying within the same realm of ingredients.  Most likely you will lose weight but a lot of it will be water weight.  You are not taking in a lot of calories (especially for the first week), so you will lose some weight.  Just be careful once it is done because most likely a lot of it will come back.  I also feel the need to add things like bananas.  I don't think this is a bad thing though.  I get low blood sugar (I am not a diabetic I just tend to get low blood sugar) and know that I will need to really watch this.  I would like to know why we cannot have much protein for the first week, this really helps with my blood sugar and energy.
