Alternative Christmas Ideas?

I am looking for some alternative Christmas decorating ideas. We ditched the live tree this year - although I do have some small potted evergreens at my front door. For the main event,  I bought  wooden tree which is quite lovely. It is called a Festive Tree - I don't think they sell them in stores. I bought it online at www.festivetree.com.

I haven't decorated it yet. I am looking to be more organic with everything this year. I am looking for some organic or fair trade ornaments that don't look too crafty. They are not easy to find actually.

Any ideas? :)
