I've been reading up on healthy habits, exercise, and low-cal recipes all day and right now I'm eating a CANDY BAR! **hangs head :(**

I'm having a double-cup of green tea with it, so it's not as bad as it could be...

I don't think we are should to stay off certain foods, because when we do we seem to crave them even more. I have had no pop or any type of candy so far this year. But what I have done in the past year since I was not able to have sweets, I would get a chocolate bar that I loved and eat a small amount today, then save it, and have another bite the next day, the last time I had a candy bar that had regular sugar it took me three days to eat it, before it would take less then five minutes. the same goes for cake or cookies, I do have them, but again I might have a donut once every other week, or a couple of cookies. You can't deprive yourself, because you will end up eating a lot when you feel you can't hold back any more. as far as pop, my goal is not completely give it up, there is no benefit from having it not even the pleasure I used to get from drinking it before. My confession is I had one donut and like 8 small chocolate chip cookies but not at the same time since the end of week four. Hard to do, but I see it as a small treat for all my hard work.
