I seriously loathe coconut. I found no issues using the coconut water but the milk...ugh. Made me sick thinking about it. Does anyone have any substitute suggestions?
What exactly are you trying to use coconut milk for? It's certainly not for everyone! What about soy milk or rice milk?
I'm half asian, and I've never used coconut milk in a smoothie. That's waaaaay too thick. I use coconut milk in curry. Coconut juice, on the other hand -- preferably pure coconut juice -- would be the better substitute for your smoothie.
If you don't like it, don't drink it.
