how many smoothies can i have during day while doing the 21 day detox?
I'm starving, how do people get thru the day without losing it?

Most of the smoothies are under 200 cals and if you've noticed most of the recipes are for 2 servings so I make 1/2 of the recipe (which usually fills me) and therefore, I'm really only consuming 100 cals or less. For example, the Antioxidant Smoothie (berry & pomagranate) makes 2 servings with 130 cal, cut the recipe in 1/2 and you're down to 65 cals for a refreshing snack that takes the edge off! I also drink lots of water and green tea (unsweetened of course) throughout the day.
Permalink Reply by Tabitha Nelson-Bane on January 15, 2012 at 7:43pm What day are you on? It gets easier the longer you're on it. We drink a lot of water. I've made almost all of the snacks and we have two snacks a day and one smoothie/juice. Try making some of the snacks!
Permalink Reply by Julie Jacobi on January 16, 2012 at 3:23pm Actually the calories are listed "per serving," so half of the Antioxidant Smoothie recipe is still 130 calories (the whole recipe would be 260 calories). But I do find that one serving fills me up and gives me a natural sugar boost for the morning.
I'm a crunchy snack person, so I keep carrot sticks on hand for a snack. And of course you know to drink lots of water. Hang in there, it gets easier!
