I made the cucumber soup last night but I didn't have any pine nuts so I substituted it with raw walnuts and I had no mint so I left it out. Let me tell you, it was not the best. There was too much acidity from the lemon. No good. But I drank it all. One serving was like 3 big bowls too, which I thoguht was kind of strange.

Also, this morning I made the Carrot, Beet, Cabbage, and Watercress Juice. I have no juicer so I blended it thinking it would be ok. Well the tast is bad. Like really bad and because it's so pulpy and thick I'm having a hard time drinking it. =( Day 2 is not looking so great.

But! the Energy Smoothie is really good. Saved at last! Haha. Hope everyone else is doing awesome.

The mixed mushroom soup is delicious.

I tried the smoothie with the kale--gross. Energy smoothie good, I agree!
I just made the Mango Smoothie! So good! I added some Naked Juice since I couldn't find coconut water anywhere. Where do you find that?! And I left out the Swiss chard which is probably why it tasted so good. Haha but again, no where to be found in the Bay Area. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong stores. Someone help me out.
I bought coconut juice at the organic market near me in Alexandria, VA, but next time I will leave it out as it is very expensive.
i think I'll leave the kale out tomorrow morning for second day smoothie. i couldn't find coconut water, either. I forced it down this morning. not terrible, but not good. i'm adding extra mango tomorrow, too. A mango smoothie should not be green! :)
