I've told my trainer I'm on this, and he's fine with it. I'm working on a half marathon (in 3 hours) in December--which means I have to walk faster, and to do that, I have to lighten up! This should be an exciting addition to my training!

I'm excited about starting the plan! I've been wanting to do something like this for quite some time and now that it's time, it's great to have a team of others to do it with. My biggest challenges: giving up caffeine and chocolate..... I've already warned my husband and kids that I might be a little grumpy for a few days :-)

I'm looking for some suggestions on smoothies I can buy that are organic and bottled. I am having trouble seeing myself blending morning and night, while my husband is having cheerios and a full dinner. Anyone know of a good brand I can get at Whole Foods? Michelle, I hear you on the caffeine and chocolate. I'm right there with you. We can vent our grumpiness here!

A lot of people liked the Odwalla brand of juices and smoothies. The important thing is to make sure it doesn't contain any ingredients on the "avoid" list. Here's a discussion board kind of related to that topic, as well.

Thank you. I believe Wegmans in my area sells the Odwalla smoothies. I will have to check it out at lunchtime.

I'm going to try to think of it using my fiancial advisor mind. I have a plan toward my future goals. Just as with any plan, implementation is key, then track my results and adjust weekly as recommneded in the plan! In 30 days.......I'm on my way to successfully achieving my health and wellness goals. My dog will be happier too. She gets to go for more walks now. Good luck Ladies. PS. Dominick's in the Chicago area has Odwalla Smoothies.

This group is currently public but I'd like to make it private to best suit the needs of you Bloom ladies. This may take a day or two to get the request through -- but I will let you know when it's done. For right now, the entire blog, including this group, is public.
