hi all.
im new here. i just wanted to pass on some information in case any of yall or someone you know can get into this program. its called "operation noble foster". if you are able to foster a cat or dog for a soldier who is deploying overseas its great. i have 2 kitty boys of my own but have taken in 2 kits for a soldier in egypt. ill have them for a few months til his family gets settled here in tampa and can take them in. sooooo cute. i was fostering 2 others - brother and sister- who were 16 years old when i got them. their dad ended up having to stay in germany/africa longer than expected so i agreed to keep the kits. both have since died of old age, one 17 the other 18. i loved every minute of having them in my home and my boys sure miss them. i still keep in contact with my soldier in germany. and decided to do it again. i cant do much for the world since i retired but i can sure help a few soldiers worry less and know their babies are safe at home and waiting for their return. hope someone will join in this worthy cause.

I met a lot of military families that struggled with wanting a pet and being able to manage them with all the military transitions. Thank you for doing this!
