Mother or S-Mother

It is the greatest blessing of all to be a mother. It blows my mind that my body actually was able to create, and help to develop another person! I mean, how amazingly cool is it to give life to another human being?I loved being pregnant. Let me clarify... once the morning sickness was gone- I loved it! When I first felt each of my babies move- that little butterfly wing feeling - Wow, its a very fond memory that brings a smile to my face each time I look back to that first sensation. Then, the…See More

Crumbs On My Feet

I had an interesting experience last week. Its not something new or exciting or earth shattering... In fact, it's a common, relatable event. As I was hanging out in my kitchen, I noticed there were crumbs on my feet. I was walking around and crumbs were stuck to the bottom of my feet and I was annoyed. There's nothing exciting or interesting about this- I know, but read on!What was interesting, profound and new to my mind....was when I noticed I semi-conciously brushed the crumbs off of each…See More

Showing Our Love to Our Kiddos

I like to think all parents love their kids.I realize some parents don't that's just an unfortunate reality, but for those of us who do... Let's show them AND tell them often. Heres a few basics and reminders:1) Give kids Lots and lots of hugs! Even the big teenage ones like their hugs (maybe not in front of their friends at the mall), but I know everyone benefits from a hug~ Warm Hugs can be the best medicine 2) Give your kids compliments. Compliment them when they follow through on chores,…See More

Alzheimers- Blessing or Curse?

Amnesia - Alzheimers - Black Outs  Blessing or Curse? Many of my friends' parents are now experiencing beginning stages of Alzheimers along with the uncomfortable symptoms or displays of frustration. They are NOT happy about it. One friend in particular has been very upset because her Mom cannot remember who she is, tells her and her siblings to "go to hell, and to F-off". It sounds horrific, BUT her mother never complains about the way she feels, she doesn't apologize or feel guilty for being…See More
