When You Meet an Idol

We all grew up with idols. People we looked at and dreamed we could ‘be like’. What do you do when you meet one of your idols? From when we are very small, we have idols. People we admire. People we dress like, or talk like, or play sports like. Humans need idols, and heroes, and people who inspire them. Idols give us some kind of guidance or image that we turn into our own personal road map. Idols…See More

"Thank you for sharing this. Personally my body acts nervous even if I don't think I am. My face flushes (bright red with a burning sensation), and my voice almost disappears with little but air coming out. I'm barely able to move my limbs…"

Is Your Fear of Public Speaking Hindering Your Advancement?

I am amazed at the number of people who confide in me that their fear of speaking at a lectern or even at the head of a boardroom table is jeopardizing their career advancement. This is so unfortunate because their fear is control of them instead of the other way around.Everyone is nervous in public speaking – or should be.…See More

It is Possible! Balanced Living Tips to Reduce Stress

Lately there seems to be a balanced living backlash. Many people, including “expert” consultants, have begun telling overextended women to give up on the idea of balanced living.  I feel sad and frustrated when I hear this.My physician thinking kicks in and translates this to any other health issue.  Overextended, stressful…See More

Is Your Fridge Making You Fat?

If you have healthy food in your fridge, you are more likely to be in the mood to eat it.  Plan your meals for the week and shop according to your plan.  Fill your fridge with healthy food.Do you buy fruit, only to have it rot in the crisper because you don’t eat it?  If you are like most people, you don’t like to cut up fruit or…See More

Are You Hoarding Love?

Greetings from the Tampa Bay :) My name is Lea, and I am the author of the Mother Baby Child Blog - http://motherbabychildblog.com. I started this blog to share my experience in having a baby just before my 1st son was about to turn 18 years old, as well as what life is like as a married mom after being single for so many years. I also blog about Christianity, baby and child stages, homeschooling, ADHD, Autism, Blog Marketing, etc. I share a lot on that blog during the non-summer seasons.

I also have a new healthy lifestyle and 90 day weight loss challenge blog - http://www.loseweightgethealthyfeelgreat.com - to accompany my Skinny Body business. I am working hard to complete the design of this new blog, so that I can provide valuable health and linformation, as well as my experience with our 90 day weight loss challenge. I gained quite a bit with this last baby, so I am struggling along with it. The plus is that we have gone all natural / organic foods and started an organic garden. It's lots of fun for the family, plus it's awesome to provide the children with food that I know is pesticide free.

I invite you to explore my blogs and provide your feedback.

Now that my baby is older, I have more time to meet more people that are genuinely interested in being as healthy as they can be. I am really excited about this!

I look forward to networking with you :)

Hugs & Blessings!
