What's Your Whole Living Goal?
To be more organic. I have been shopping at my local "organic minded" grocery stores. So im for sure putting in the effort. My 3 year old little girl is autistic with serious food sensitivities. She only likes dry foods. No texture and easily broken down in her mouth. We work with an occupational therapist for it. It's a huge challenge. Right now she drinks pediasure with each meal, graham crackers, ceral bars, brownie bites and oatmeal (which is weird.. and in the oatmeal I crush up veggie and fruit suppliments. She doesnt notice and It's better than nothing). At least she can sit at the talbe with us now. Before she would gag, eyes fill up with water and couldnt even look at people put food in their mouth. 6 months have gone by working with an OT she can now at least sit at the table with us and put licorice in her mouth! My 5 year old son eats everything. Salad is his favortie. He could eat it 24/7. Oh how I wish one day she can do the same. Never take for granted the simple things.. Only people who could ever relate is those people who like me have had that simple "given" taken away. But, it's getting better so this mama is a happy camper :)
