15 lbs left to leave in 2012.

OMG It has been so long! But The last year has been crazy! After purchasing my first home this year and reorganizing my life, and losing 12 pounds in the process, I have found my personal motivation again. It feels WONDERFUL! I have downloaded this app called MyPlate that allows me to track my daily calorie intake. This app is fun and helps me be mindful of what I am eating. I have always started a new lifestyle change that includes going to the gym and eating healthier instead of crash dieting…See More

Catering to My Needs: Hello, Self, It's been a long time.

Everyone has something in life (or a few somethings, mostly) that they seem to struggle with. Some of these things stay in our lives for short periods and then we overcome them, while others seem to continue to beat us down for years and completely change our lives. So much so that one day you may realize that you do not even recognize yourself anymore. This happened to me recently. Now, I am very blessed. In my love life I am blessed to be with someone that loves me no matter what I look like…See More

Fearing the Needed Change

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today has been such a drag. I have been working in the same customer service postion for 5 years now. I have been told multiple times from the many different managers from the many different retail locations that I have worked in that there is nothing else in my department that I can learn; I have mastered it all. So now, I feel that I am burnt out of this position. The next position that I am considering going into is the only other position in our stores (other than…See More

Trying to Get Unstuck

Hello Whole Living Community!

My name is Liane Michelle, and I live in Northern California. I am turning 25 in May of this year, and I feel like there is a great void in my life. I went to art & design college in San Francisco for 3 years, which was very very inspiring, but when the economy took a turn I left my senior year to enroll in a career that would be more "economy proof." Now, I work for the same communications retail employer that I have been at for almost 5…

Lea @ Mother Baby Child & Weight Loss Help

At 2:04pm on August 29, 2012, Lea said…

Greetings from the Tampa Bay :) My name is Lea, and I am the author of the Mother Baby Child Blog - http://motherbabychildblog.com. I started this blog to share my experience in having a baby just before my 1st son was about to turn 18 years old, as well as what life is like as a married mom after being single for so many years. I also blog about Christianity, baby and child stages, homeschooling, ADHD, Autism, Blog Marketing, etc. I share a lot on that blog during the non-summer seasons.

I also have a new healthy lifestyle and 90 day weight loss challenge blog - http://www.loseweightgethealthyfeelgreat.com - to accompany my Skinny Body business. I am working hard to complete the design of this new blog, so that I can provide valuable health and linformation, as well as my experience with our 90 day weight loss challenge. I gained quite a bit with this last baby, so I am struggling along with it. The plus is that we have gone all natural / organic foods and started an organic garden. It's lots of fun for the family, plus it's awesome to provide the children with food that I know is pesticide free.

I invite you to explore my blogs and provide your feedback.

Now that my baby is older, I have more time to meet more people that are genuinely interested in being as healthy as they can be. I am really excited about this!

I look forward to networking with you :)

Hugs & Blessings!

It's definitely hard being a vegan, especially as a college student. I've on and off been a vegan/vegetarian/ate raw for the past 4 years so I'm just use to it at this point. I don't do it for any moral reasons against eating meat, but because I have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities so I sometimes cheat and have a glass of milk or a yogurt.
