Wednesday, day three, was tough. Bad day at work, I won't get into the details, but suffice it to say I not only feel like quitting my job this morning, I do not want to go at all today. But go I must!
Then when I got home, an hour later than normal, I did not feel like cooking so I had a handful of roasted non-salted almonds to get me through until I did feel like cooking. Hubby decided it was a good night for him to go to bed at 7:00 ... since he sleeps in the living room recliner…

Today was especially hard because I was home, alone, and there's a bowl of Hershey's Kisses on the shelf right behind me. Some may think I should get rid of them, but I need to prove I can have them in the house and NOT eat the whole bowl! I did however eat one ... and felt SO guilty afterward that I think it should cure me through the rest of the
28 days. By then I hope the craving is gone and I can eat chocolate like a "normal" person!

So, the way I am, I jump in with both feet which sometimes gets me in over my head. So I started out the first day by having the Quinoa Salad with Almonds for supper. I had never tasted quinoa, or cooked it, or saw it cooked to know how it should be! I was blown away by how good it was! The different textures in this keep it interesting and it keeps your mouth busy chewing until your stomache realizes you've put food down there.
The day has went alright, except for a monster headache…

Excitement is in the air tonight for me as I prepare to go to bed ... 10 minutes earlier than I normally would! I have already made a salad for my lunch tomorrow and bought all the groceries needed for the week. My luck, I work in a grocery store so picking up needed items is easy for me ...
