Why am I so hungry?? Detox day 3

So I'm reading other posts and people are saying how satisfied they are. That's great, but I am freakin hungry! I do like everything I am drinking and eating, but I just feel like something is missing. So... I have been snacking quite a bit. It 's all off the okay foods list at least. I feel pretty good for the most part. My skin looks clear and not as blotchy. I am happy about that!I really like the energy smoothie and when I drank it for breakfast it kept me satisfied till lunch.Made a great…See More

Day 1 Detox Done

Well it wasn't too bad after all! I was so leery about the mango smoothie with avocado and green leafy vegies, but it wasn't bad. I think it was a good way to start the detox since it filled my tummy and kept me kinda full for quite a while. I didn't have coconut water so used lite coconut milk. I am definitely figuring it out that I will not be able to follow the menu. I don't eat fish for one. ick. So lot's of chicken for lunches.Took lunch to my daughter at noon and was so hungry I wanted to…See More

Day 2 & Woot, I got out and walked!

Okay so I did pretty good with food yesterday and so far so good for today. I did give up coffee (with swiss miss in it) and have been drinking a warm cup of green tea instead. Not as good, but it's the ritual thing in the morning. I did the fitness test yesterday and don't really want to talk about that. I am sooo.. out of shape! The one good part of that is my heart rate was in the average range. :) I really want to get strong and healthy on this program and beyond. My doctor ND, tells me I…See More

Feeling Ready and it's about time!

I've been waiting for Jan 4th ever since I first read about the Body & Soul Challenge a month ago. My body has been ready for this for 4 years! I am excited to get going on my new get healthy journey. Getting up and exercising is going to be my biggest challenge, but I bought some rain gear and I am committed to walking everyday rain or shine! Learning to slow down and take time for me to unwind/destress is going to be interesting too. Gonna try out the Sedona Method and see how that does.…See More
