Saying Yes to “No”

Detox? Stress Relief?? Whazzat???

I must confess to feeling a little out of the loop on these topics.  I say I'll commit to "today's challenge" (most days), because usually there's some portion of the challenge that strikes me as an improvement I could make.  But it strikes me that these challenges are targeted at women whose lives became stressed out,  or who overindulged, during the ubiquitous Holidays, and much as I hate to sound smug -- that's not me.

Broken Relationships

Today's task is to make an attempt to repair a broken relationship, and I am surprised by the number of people who have decided to give this one a miss.

Last September, I received news of a death that should never have occurred.  The woman in question was, as far as anyone knew, in the best of health.  She was a nurse; she took care of herself, ate a healthy diet and exercised; she was happily married; and when she died, she was on vacation with her family.  She was also 38 years…
