I am a perfectionist at heart and I hate to fail. Late last night, I completed caved over a cup of vanilla ice cream and I have been brooding about it ever since. There is no one harder on me than me. Vanilla ice cream!?! That's what I ended up with after all that restraint and will power! I did really well all weekend, in terms of eating and managing stress. I actually read 60 pages of a book, for pleasure. I took an hour nap both days, while Jane was napping. This instead of cleaning and straightening or e-mailing or calling people. I sincerely needed the down time this weekend.
