OMG It has been so long! But The last year has been crazy! After purchasing my first home this year and reorganizing my life, and losing 12 pounds in the process, I have found my personal motivation again. It feels WONDERFUL!
I have downloaded this app called MyPlate that allows me to track my daily calorie intake. This app is fun and helps me be mindful of what I am eating. I have always started a new lifestyle change that includes going to the gym and eating healthier instead of crash dieting and it has really started to make a change in my life. I have already lost 12 pounds and have 15 more to lose before 2012 comes to a close. Then, by the close of 2013, I want to have let go of my final 50 pounds. I am going to make the necessary lifestyle changes to be able to accomplish this goal as well as continue to keep my body fit and healthy for the rest of my life.
I need to do this for me. And for my family. Disease is not something I want me or them to have to suffer through.
I am hoping that with this lifestyle change I will become more familier with seasonal vegetables and will be able to create a seasonal vegetable garden in my backyard for my kids to help me with.
Something that I am noticing as the seasons change is that my skin and hair have changed as well. Does anyone know what the best routines/foods are in order to keep hair and skin shiny and healthy and soft? Mine seem to be drying out SO much this season and I am wondering whether or not I should eat differently or change my shampoo.
