I'm the youngest of five. Three of my siblings are sisters. All three are diabetics. I do not want to be the 4th so I'm determined to take charge of my health this year. I've always loved reading about nutrition and preventative medicine. What I haven't always done was the consistent follow through.

This year, I've created a document with goals to be printed out weekly. I will place a copy of this in a spot in my home where I have no choice but to be reminded of thse goals.

I've been devising my plan this week while I have a break from teaching. So here we go.....

Greens/Veggies Twice a Week

Eat Foods With Omega 3’s Twice a Week (Salmon/Tuna)
Walk for 20-30 Minutes 4-5 Times Per Week
Meditative Breathing 4-5 Times A Week

Eat Healthier Carbs (Whole Grains) 4-5 Times Per Week
Use Less Salt-Use Healthy Spices DAILY

Set Goals Weekly

Slow Down and Pay Attention When I Eat Daily
Attempt To Reduce Sleep Issues Daily

Create More Connections With People Daily

Watch My Sugar Intake

Awesome! You are much more organized than me. I love your check list. I think the daily reminders is a great way to keep on track. I have trouble with the follow through on anything I start. If you don't mind to much, I would love to try your idea of the daily reminder list....this may be just what I need to stay on track! Thanks for sharing.
