If you've been following the Whole Life Action Plan for a while, you know it's all about making small steps toward a healthier, sustainable, more balanced life. And now you can make one small step each day, along with others in our community, with daily
Action Plan challenges.
How does it work?
Every day, we'll post a new challenge here in the Whole Living community. These "assignments" aren't anything super complicated -- and in fact, you might be doing them already in your everyday life.
For example, how many of you are going for a walk outside today or are planning to grill some veggies tomorrow, Memorial Day? See -- that's not so hard, is it?Track Your Progress
The best part of our new daily challenge assignments is that you can help us keep track of how well you're doing as a community. Each day we'll poll you and ask whether you accept the day's challenge. If it's something you plan to do that day or in the near future, accept the challenge and add your pledge to the group. If it's something you'd rather pass on, say no and wait for the next one.
Challenges will stay open for the full calendar month, so even if you miss a day you can always go back and pledge later, as well. You can also spread the word -- and let your friends know about all of the positive changes you're making -- by sharing your pledges on Facebook and Twitter.
Even though we're now posting daily challenges, the Whole Life Action Plan newsletter is still a weekly email, sent to you every Sunday. This email will become kind of a weekly round-up of what's ahead -- but in order to get every day's challenge, you have to check back with us in the community throughout the week. Need some help staying in touch? If you're a registered member of the Whole Living community (check the "Sign Up / Sign In" box in the upper right corner of your screen), you can "follow" the Whole Life Action Plan blog and you'll receive an email every morning when a new challenge is posted.

There you can click "Follow" and you'll be signed up to receive email notifications. (You can also sign up for feed updates there if you use an RSS reader.) **UPDATE 6/13/10: We had some difficulties in the last couple of weeks with the "Follow" feature but it's been resolved now. So if you tried following us and weren't receiving daily emails, try again now!
