Comment by Tiffany Britton on May 1, 2012 at 7:12am Catherine - I taught this class at a training studio, not at the Y. The classes at the Y are intense, but they seem to incorporate more exercises and use timed intervals instead of a quantity goal. I think you'd surprise yourself if you gave it a try. Plus, the instructors should be able to modify any of the exercises in the class to meet participants at their fitness level.
Michelle - It does make me proud. But it makes the days I need to rest (like today) really difficult because I have to fight the urge to do more. I haven't been spending enough time on my bike. I need to get more practice so I can improve (and use my cycling shoes).
Comment by Catherine Garcia on April 30, 2012 at 10:38pm OK your post has made me realize I am definitely not ready for the boot camp class at my local Y. I'm so glad you posted this because otherwise some Sunday morning I would have showed up for boot camp and I probably would have passed out! Maybe someday I'll get there :-)
