In the past week I have been at odds with my own budget (which is that of a working(ish) actor's). I have been struggling with the idea of spending money for this detox; though it would be good for my mind and my body- my wallet isn't as convinced. I've got some great chicken cutlets in the freezer just waiting to be made into a less-than-detox friendly chicken piccata (my stomach rumbles just thinking about it) but if I am to follow this detox to a T I would have to cut out that lovely, delicious, satisfying egg/breadcrumb combination that is so good!
Though-- A thought just occurred to me -- I can easily make the piccata today with whole wheat breadcrumbs and use the free-range eggs I have; then use the rest of the chicken for my solid meal on Thursday.
I'm still struggling with the idea of giving up food for 2 of my 3 meals for 4 days... but hey, I think I can do it.
