Today's food:
Breakfast
Quinoa flakes, ground flax, bananas, almond butter
Lunch
White beans, roasted sweet potatoes, tomato slices with hummus
Snack
Kalamata olives (I was at the grocery store and was looking at the bread, but hit up the olive bar instead!)
Dinner
Mashed cauliflower, roasted broccoli and garlic
Dessert
Vanilla rooibos tea with unsweetened vanilla almond milk + agave nectar
I tried to eat pretty light today so I won't weigh my system down tomorrow. I hit up my favorite produce store to prep for the detox. For $16, I got all of this:
- gigantic head of green leaf lettuce
- grape tomatoes
- kale
- 3 cucumbers
- 2 red bell peppers
- 3 lemons
- knob of ginger
- 5 clementines
- beets (with tops! I will probably juice the beets and saute the tops with garlic)
- cremini mushrooms
- brussel sprouts
- bananas
- 2 avocados
That should be enough for juice and veggie-fied meals. Plus I already have baby spinach and apples here. I'm ready, detox! Bring it on.
