I started Tuesday so am actually on last day -woooohooo. My husband and I are both doing and he feels great. We have had veggie soup and salad at night, not juice. And I have cheated with black tea and agave nectar in am :)
The first two days I was fine. Yesterday I was hungry (and irritable!!)all day but stuck with it. Woke up very hungry this morning (and irritable-poor husband!) and had oatmeal which really helped. Still sticking to guidelines but smoothie was not going to cut it.
I wouldn't say I feel better which makes me think my diet is pretty good. I feel like I have reconnected with my body and hunger signals though which is great. I think I will do an even better job of eating when hungry and stopping when almost full (not overly full). I also think I will make better choices for meals -more veggies and less carbs.
I need carbs though! I don't miss the sweet stuff as much as I thought I would but am dying for some bread and cheese :)
