Everyone has a purpose in life. My purpose has been to bring love, hope, and strength to those affected by Autism. Along this path, I have learned a lot. I have become more aware and less fearful. I have come to realize that the Universe takes each of us down a path. What we gain from that path is entirely up to us. The children I treat and the families I have worked with are my heroes. They have taught me it is possible to see every challenge in life as a lesson. They have shown me how to be strong, how to persevere, and how to shine within the realm of our differences.
These lessons have made me a better mother, a better friend, a better person.
We all function at different levels of consciousness and we each have our own egos to manage. If we were able to overcome our fears, and see that we are all one, the world we want would appear around us.
As "One," there would be only love. When there is only love, we have found our home.
To me, life is about learning to overcome fear. I don't fear when I know the universe leads me exactly where I am meant to be.
In every moment of our existence, we can make a choice. We can choose to be one with the Universe, to give love, and to accept change, or we can struggle and fear. Let us trust the flow of the Universe; it will lead us to the New World we so desire.
Every day I remind myself to see the opportunities I am given to learn, to grow, to be strong, and to give love. Every day I remind myself to trust the path I am on. When challenges arise, I remind myself: Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Everything I want for a new world is already here. We can all see this new world if we find the courage to pursue it. After all, the perfect world is only a canvas to our collective imagination.
