Grateful For Prepped Staples In My Fridge

The majority of my symptoms seem to be on their way out, but the cough is still running me ragged. My core is sore from coughing and I feel wobbly from lack of appetite. However, I am very grateful for the home made chicken stock and cooked brown rice in the fridge. I combined those two for lunch today. My time has been spent reading and knitting - definitely low stress, which I am grateful for as well. I know this bug will pass soon and I will be able to participate in more active things. I just have to be patient. (Any bodily exertion brings on a fit of coughing.) I feel somewhat disappointed that this year's challenge has been a little bit more passive for me, but I have to honor what my body needs. After all, it's about the body as well as the soul (I miss the old magazine title).

From my FB feed, I know a lot of people have had horrible colds or the flu this winter.  Hope you feel better soon!
