Why is honey under the "refined Sugar" category?? Honey is NOT refined in nay way. It is straight from the bees with nothing added or changed in any way. The molasses IS refined and so isn't the stevia granules and the Agave. So what or why was honey added to the do not have list? It is very healthy for you- in small amounts. (Only purchase unfiltered and/or raw honey. or from a beekeeper. No the mass market stuff)

But if it's a simple /refined, then why OK for the Molasses? (because of the iron content?)
I too not only collect honey from all over but keep bees too. So honey is the main sweetener in this house....
But I drink my tea w/o sweetener, only Chai do I add it to. Thanks for your input Adriann!!

Unfortunately I think they mean 'simple' sugar :p - something that causes blood sugar to spike.
I LOVE honey - I collect it from all over the world, so I too look at it as one of the most simplistic and healthful of foods, so going without will be a shame, but I will be reintroducing it into my diet long before processed sugars!
