I was just chowing down on my apple and it occurred to me that I have
not bought anything but Fujis since I discovered them five years ago.
Is there any apple more perfect? Just crisp enough, sort of sweet,
sort of tart.

But maybe I'm in a produce rut. Does anybody have any kind of apple they'd recommend for somebody who likes it crisp? (Sweet-sour ratio is much less important.)

These are Pink Ladies (I think) at the Fair Food Philly Farmstand (say that five times fast) in Reading Terminal. Here's a Fun Fact From the Fair Food Philly Farmstand: The average American lives within 60 miles of an apple orchard, but the average apple you buy at the grocery store probably traveled 1,726 miles to get to you.

I'm not sure where this Fuji I'm eating came from -- I'm looking around for the sticker and can't find one. Did I eat it? I hope not. :-(

I'm eating a crispy red delicious right now and it's like candy. Better when cold, though!
