I'm guessing glass is not on the foods to include list...

Well, it didn't take long to start running into obstacles. My bowl of quinoa, intended for lunch, has smashed into hundreds of glass shards mixed with quinoa. I've used these bowls in my lunch bag for months with no trouble. Guess I won't be eating that.

Now I will have to decide whether to go out in search of a plan-approved substitute or to see if I can survive on the remainder of my lunch & snacks: a tablespoon of almond butter, two celery sticks, one carrot, three green sicilian olives, one apple, 2.8 oz of water-packed tuna, a seltzer and some herbal tea.

Hmm.

oh no! a few weeks ago i brought a rice dish to work. when i went to eat it, i noticed tons of tiny plastic pieces in it... a mouse apparently chewed through the plastic rice canister! very gross. the mouse problem has since been remedied and i've found no further plastic bits in my food. that's too bad about your glass bowl! best of luck in continuing on... and if you aren't able to stay "on track" for today's lunch, i wouldn't sweat it. life happens.

The only soups today were 'cream of'. I was able to find a cold chicken and chickpeas salad that has acceptable ingredients at Zigo. It's pretty good!

Plastic bowls (or bubble wrap) tomorrow!
