My partner and I stared the detox on Monday. We are really, really sticking to the plan and want to do it for 6 days. Our worst obstacle is eating so much cold food when it is below freezing, snowy weather! I think my body would welcome this in April more than now.
I always eat lots of dandelion greens and do a type of detox in the spring. In the winter my body wants food, hot food!
Now I don't want to whine too much as I have lost 5 pounds. We started the build up to the detox on Saturday and Sunday and the detox in earnest on Monday. We plan to detox through Saturday then on Sunday ease into a more normal eating plan. I like the mix and match menu selections avaible somewhere here.
I hope that this will lead to a more intentional way of eating.

I completely agree! I was eating the chilled cucumber mint soup, and even though I was inside, I felt like I was outside, freezing! Oh well....just a few more days, then I will expand to hot soups! thank goodness!
