So, remember that back page with the "Ten Thoughts on Whole Living"? That's my baby! Since we introduced that page probably about 5-6 years ago, I've been proudly penning those one-liners for the magazine. It was probably the closest I came to actually using my MFA in poetry.

I have, over the years, received more letters and cards on that page alone than any other story I worked on. I heard that people tore them out and saved them, stuck them on their fridge, or sent them to people. One woman wrote to say she cut them up into separate strips and put them in a bowl on her desk and told people to take one! That's the best yet.

We've been doing a lot of work to freshen up the magazine, and that means even some beloved elements of the mag are changing, and so that page doesn't appear anymore. HOWEVER, we have them online, AND if you follow us on twitter, you'll get one a day, like a little supplement for your soul. So follow us! twitter.com/bodyandsoulmag

You can also submit one of your own! Just upload a picture that inspires you (could be of you, your dog, or a great shot you got of the skyline on vacation) and pen your own thought to share with the rest of the community. And no, you don't need an MFA to do it. We'd love to hear from you.

Best,
