I hear people discussing the reason behind not exercising or eating healthy, and the root is always the same - there's just not enough time. Life is moving too fast to take the time to get to the gym, to spend a lunch hour on a long walk, and there's certainly not enough time to spend 45 minutes in the kitchen preparing dinner each night.

Here's the thing: we make time for those things we deem important. And yes, we do seem to be crunched for time these days, whether it's working longer hours, commuting a longer distance, or doing things for the kids. But if you don't put in the time in the gym and in the kitchen now, your body will eventually slow down life for you. So the question you need to ask your self is this: Do I want to make the healthy choices on how to spend my time now, or do I want to have my schedule dictated by medications, doctor visits, and dialysis appointments later?
