Hi everyone,

i just joined today. offlate i have been trying desperately to lose weight and become a healthy individual. but absolutely no amount of motivation is happening. i am able to preach but not practice. i am fully aware of the consequences of being over weight but still not able to put any efforts in that direction. i binge continously without purpose. fee guilty later. but what's the use!!! harm is done :( i have kind of decided to go through the plan and accomplish something by my 32nd bday which is on 2nd of april!!! hope it happens. i just dont priortise myself. leading a routine life. i just dont get up and do things!!! how sick a person can be, am the example. thatz it for now :(

setting extreme goals is like setting yourself up to fail/get discouraged, take it one day, one bite, one decision at a time.

I find that the best motivation is to start small, and then it's less daunting! Try switching one bad food for one good food today. Or add a small amount of exercise- then start building on that. Once you get the ball rolling, you'll start to enjoy cooking healthier meals, making better choices, and taking care of yourself. Take a baby step first, this won't happen overnight. Getting healthy is a process in which you try to create lasting habits that will follow you throughout the rest of your life!
