Off for the weekend!!!
Well it's offical. It's the weekend. Time to play. What is everyone doing? I'm headed off to the Grand Mesa. I have a friend that has a cabin up there. It will be nice to get out into nature and spend some time connecting with it. I won't have cell service (love it). They don't have any TV either (sophia will hate that). But there is sooo much more to do. They have a canoe. That will be fun and we will fish, and finish reading my book. I hope I see a moose!

Sounds like you're going to have a blast! I don't camp because I live in such a rural area but it is nice to connect with nature. I love building a fire and sitting out under the stars. Good luck with your moose! I've never seen one myself but we have a ton of deer, some elk, I saw 3 turkeys today, and about a year ago I saw a bear!

Rebecca your weekend sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun! It is really nice to get away- from phones, tv, etc for a bit and recharge somewhere in nature- I hope you take some great pics to share with us and enjoy your time at the Grand Mesa!
