Somehow I was expecting that today, day 1 of my detox, was going to be horrendously difficult. It wasn't...

I got up, had a mango smoothie for breakfast, drank lots of chamomile tea, cleaned the bathroom, went out to see a movie, ate some raw nuts in the cinema, drank more chamomile tea, came home, ate some lunch (chilli made with millet, black beans and yellow pepper), went out to see an exhibition at the Boston ICA, drank more chamomile tea, had some baby carrots and (homemade) hummus, did some yoga (lots of twisting to help with the detox), had the other half of my mango smoothie.

No headaches, no hunger pangs, no crazy mood swings. All good.

Let's see what tomorrow brings, as I'll have to be back at work and it might not be so easy to keep myself distracted from food at work. I have my lunch all ready to go: brown rice with homemade salsa, pinto beans and avocado.

What's the bet I dream about food tonight!?
