Ok, so I have been pretty pumped to get started. I checked out a bunch of vegan and vegetarian cookbooks from the library to get some ideas and recipes. My goal is to make this the real deal. I want to change my lifestyle not just my diet. So I am attempting a drastic switch from meat and little to no fruits and veg, to tons of fruits and veg and little to no meat. We will see how it goes, I am pretty sure that I would have a hard time giving up seafood, but who knows, I may surprise myself (and everyone who knows me).
Went to wegmans to stock up on food for this week and oh my goodness, I am not sure I can afford to eat organic or alternative. I can't believe how much I spent and this is food only for myself (my poor hubby doesn't know this). But I really hope it's worth it, if I can actually eat all of the fruits and veg I bought I am sure it will be.
Oh and my sister joined and I am super excited to have her on board! Way to go Val! We can do it!
