Over the past 10 years my weight gain of 81 pounds has turned me into my memory of my mother and her friends. They always talked about their aches and pains. Now I have many aches in my feet, back and joints. I have to be honest. I procrastinate. So, I'm hoping that we can support each other. I'm away from home days at a time with my job so eating out will pose a huge challenge. Plus, my schedule - working at night. I've never figured out how to eat and exercise, since starting this shift. Does anyone else have this problem??? Good luck to us all.

Do you have time to exercise before your shift starts? Though everyone has different workout times, I find that when I work out first thing (for me in the morning - for you it would be before your shift) I can run longer, and workout harder because I feel fresher vs. after a stressful day at school or work when I am beat and it takes all my energy to do the household chores, billpaying, dinner making, family time, etc.. When do you feel the most energetic? I would say try both -after work and before and see which one makes you feel better. You can do it!
