Ingredients:
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Salt
  • Canola or Olive  Oil
  • Seasoning (to taste)
 Preheat oven to 400  degrees or if you wish to fry them prep a frying pan with oil and pre-heat  oil.

Prep: Cut the sweet  potatoes length wise to look like french fries.

Once the oil in the  fry pan is hot- carefully place the cut sweet potatoes into the fry pan-  stirring occasionally until they cook and brown to your desired doneness.

If baking, bake sweet  potato fries until firm and crisp. To add extra crisp you can broil the sweet  potato fries until they have reached your desired doneness.

After they are  finished cooking- apply salt and/or seasonings to taste. Enjoy!

-:- Thanks for this quick and easy recipe!  I have baked wedges before similar to your directions and then spritzed them with lime juice.  Perhaps I will try your version with the frying pan ... that sounds really fun!
