One thing that drives me nuts right now is having lots of discusions & meetings to talk about doing something- someday.

I am finding this happening in business more than ever before... Can you relate?

How about we decide to "Take It to The Next level" and then just do it!!!!!!

Can we find the courage and guts to look at each other and say "I'm IN are YOU?" Then, start right there and then- if it's an evening meeting..... begin the next day

ACTION Now! If not now- when?

Are you the kind of person who takes immediate action- or do you have to have meetings, think about things, talk it over some more and see what happens?

What I finally took action on was my health about 6 months ago. I was a health see-saw: living very clean Monday through Thursday, working out for over an hour a day, then having a little too much fun and indulgent weekends. I was also working too much and sleeping too little which was allowing me to make excuses about my behavior like "I need my weekends to unwind". I thought if I gave up my lifestyle I would be sacrificing fun times and relationships with my friends.

I'm not sure what finally caused me to take action. It started happening in phases - I started to enjoy 8 hours of rest, I started to enjoy curling up with a book on the weekend, I noticed how much better I felt in yoga Monday morning after a healthy weekend. These activities, although small, made me realize the sacrifice I was actually making by living so unhealthily. I was sacrificing my potential to be my happiest and strongest. I also noticed that my relationships are so much stronger with a clear head and focus to give to them.

Looking back, I guess it was fear. Fear of change and holding onto the comfort of something that allowed me to make excuses for not being my best self. Now that it's gone, there are so many more things I am accomplishing!

Thank you Robin. What was it that was holding you back? F-e-a-r? Or do you believe when the time is right- you take action?

Would you share what you DID finally take action on?

I spent years talking and dabbling in doing. It wasn't until I was really ready to actually do something that I could. I think the tendency is for people to want to be something, but they just can't for whatever reason. Something is mentally holding them back. The key is to find what is holding you back, release it or address it, then act.
