The Sweet Taste of Success (and Things to Continue to Work On).

Well, here we are at the end of the 28-Day Challenge. But, for me I feel like (and am hoping like hell) that it is just the beginning.

A few successes from these past weeks:

-there is very little processed food that goes in my mouth and into the mouths of my kids

-I tend to skip the interior aisles in the grocery store

-I'm reading food labels like it's my job

-I'm drinking much more water than before and actually crave it

-I still have not had caffeine

-I have not had soda in weeks and don't miss it

-I haven't eaten cookies, candy or dessert (except for on special occasions)

-I have re-set my palate and am willing to try new foods

-I am a firm believer that what you put in your body = how you feel and function

I would say this has been a wonderful, exciting, confidence-building SUCCESS.

Some items I am excited to continue to work on and make a part of my life:

-Exercise regularly (I didn't do so great on this part of the challenge...baby steps, I say to that).

-Incorporate mindful meditation into my life (went to a meditation seminar on Saturday and it was fantastic!)

-Slow down and simplify my to-do list. (I tend to take on too much, and plan to work on making life simpler).

This really has been a great experience and the community was a fantastic place to share my journey alongside the other 'challengers'.

Keep up the good work peeps!  No matter how much or little you completed of the challenge, doing something is better than nothing at all....congratulations on a job well done!

Congrats! I absolutely would like to continue working on slowing things down, simplifying my to-do list and maintaining a meditation and yoga practice. Good luck :)
