I got to know some new people. It is amazing how a wake brings all the freinds and family together. My daughter Jacquie is really sad but she is coping well. She feels threatened though because the friends mom is actually younger than myself.Hope everyone has a good day(:HUGS!

I love this challenge. I do need to make not one, but many changes! I need to get rid of so much stuff in my apt...I'm governed by it! I just have to take a deep breath and get rid of it. I also read up on a condition that I think I have...adult ADHD. I plan to do research online and find ways to live with it. It's not so bad that I can't function, but I do need to focus more, and learn to listen better!

I love Marie-Anne's thoughts about living each new day as if it's our last....* * * Brilliant! * * *

Sophia, it's cathartic to write about those events in your life that have affected you negatively...it's a great way to share how you feel with others. I do hope that you're providing solace not only for your daughter's friend's family, but for your daughter, too.

Elizabeth, yes, I do feel like the cold east coast weather that I've been subjected to does make me feel tough (p.s. - I will not take my hat off to that; it's too cold!), but I also have lots of warm clothes to take the chill off. Also, it can be invigorating to feel the crisp air when I walk!

HEY Marie! I will send some of that sunshine to everyone:) The sun is extremely helpful and powerful. The shortest day of the year with this much sunshine in my life right now is very powerful. I really take my hat off to everyone who lives in such cold conditions! YOU guys are tough:) I like Linda's idea of reviewing on the seasons. In fact, that is what I have had in mind for quite some time. It just seems logical...go figure hahaha. Sophia please take these words sincerely---a loss at anytime is difficult but around the holidays, it can be especially stressful. I also have lost many family members around the holidays. MUCH love to everyone...till tomorrow girls!!!

Elizabeth, I would join you in a minute to walk in the sunshine on this official day of Winter :-D

The 70s outside.......really a dream for us in the Northwest !!!

I am under the weather today.....& the hot chocolate drink with the heat of the cayenne pepper surely does its magic.......Thank you Whole Living Community to have shared this trick with us.   I am spreading the word......

My mind cannot focus on anything in particular at the moment but hopefully it will.............by this evening to answer to this challenge.

Yes, Sophia, LIFE is FRAGILE.......At any moment, it could be over for anyone of us.  So, let us live each new day.............. like it would be our very LAST one.

KEEPING this reality in mind could radically transpose our priorities......the use of our time & means & ultimately :  the quality of our relationships ................................which brings us back to today's challenge of c  h  a  n  g  e

I missed the lunar eclipse:( BUT I did go for a well over due "myself" walk for 30 minutes. I walked as fast as I could while testing myself for my teaching certification test on Thursday. YIKES I had so many blanks and yet I am confident I will pass. Here in El Paso, TX the SUN is out and it is almost 70 outside. We are the "Sun City" for that very reason:)
