We're supposed to eat a minimum of five servings of fruits and vegetables every day but according to Steven Pratt, M.D., it's better to eat between nine and eleven. Today, forego those refined carbohydrates and try to eat ten whole servings of your favorite fresh fruits and veggies.

Tomorrow's challenge: Take a real lunch break. Stop back tomorrow to pledge!

Yesterday's challenge: Do 10 push-ups.

That makes two of us. I struggle to get even the recommended 5!

Wow - 10 servings of fruits & veggies! My current meal plan calls for 7 servings -- how the heck do you get to 10! Is it 10 different fruits and veggies or 10 "servings"? I definitely have a variety of fruits and veggies in my diet - possibly even 10, but I don't consider the few raisins that are in my morning mueslix to be a serving. Comments anyone?
